The GSA Excellence in Teaching Award honors the outstanding dedication of graduate students who have shown excellence and gone above and beyond in their roles as teachers at UC Santa Barbara.  Shelley LaMon, a Ph.D. candidate specializing in Sociocultural Anthropology,  was selected as the winner of this award in the "Lecturers and Teaching Associates" division for all disciplines, and was presented with the award at the final GSA General Assembly meeting of the last school year on Tuesday, June 2, 2015.
